Sobre esta obra
This is a symbolic painting with a clear message of hope. A woman leans against a waste bin in the middle of nowhere. She is dressed in a thick overcoat and sports a fashionable hat with a tinted sun visor. She peeks knowingly over her out-sized collar at us. Reclining over the bin symbolises the relentless damage we do to our planet and the oceans. Her impractical attire is symbolic of the unpredictable weather patterns that we see occurring with alarming frequency. Climate change is not easy to ignore and yet we manage to do precisely that. Painted on a large, recycled, medium textured, professionally stretched box canvas, using the finest Old Holland oils and mediums. It is finished with a light satin varnish.
