Entropy study is an attempt to visualise a scientific paradox which occurs through the understanding of entropy simultaneously as an increase in disorder and as an increase in homogeneity (the paradox arises because high levels of homogeneity can be equated with high levels of order). The resulting method of colour distribution charts a progression through the colour spectrum from a state of high homogeneity (high entropy) to a lower one (greater disorder).
